Method
Cook the Kaladi
-
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
-
Place the Kaladi on the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until it turns golden brown with a crispy exterior and a soft, gooey center.
-
Remove from the pan and set aside.
Toast the Burger Bun
-
Slice the burger bun in half.
-
Lightly toast both halves on the same pan with a little butter (optional) until golden.
Assemble the Burger
-
Spread tomato ketchup or mint sauce on the bottom half of the bun.
-
Add lettuce or your favorite vegetables.
-
Place the hot, grilled Kaladi on top.
-
Layer with onion and tomato slices.
-
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
-
Add a little more sauce if desired.
-
Cover with the top bun.
Serve
Serve immediately while the Kaladi is warm and stretchy. Pair it with crispy fries, potato wedges, or a refreshing mint lemonade for a complete meal.
