3 1/4 cups of wheat flour
1 tbsp instant yeast, 1tsp.
Salt – a pinch
1 tsp Jaggery,
1/2cup walnuts chopped
1/2 cup Walnut oil,
1 tbsp wheat gluten
2 cups of lukewarm water.
Mix yeast, Jaggery and half a cup of water and leave for 5-10 minutes for the yeast to get activated.
Add salt and half of the walnut oil to the flour.
Make a well in the center and pour the yeast mixture and keep adding the rest of the water while you knead the dough.
Put the dough in a greased bowl and wait for 1 to 1 1/2 hours till it doubles in volume.
Once doubled, punch down the dough add walnuts and the remaining oil.
Knead and shape the dough.
Let it proof for another 45 minutes to an hour.
Preheat the oven to 200•c add the loaf and bake it for around 45 minutes.
