Here's a successful story of entrepreneur form J&K, based out of small town of Panthal in District Reasi famous for its pickles preparation by Proprietor Late. Sh. Pandit Dwarka Nath Khajuria back in 1938. He started this concept by preparing pickles at home with natural ingredients and selling in dried leaf disposable bowls on road side to piligrims and locals who usually travel through Jammu-Katra Old Highway. This later given a registered brand name 'BABA MANTHAL KA ACHAAR' by his son and successor Sh. Vachaspati Khajuria . Most of the vegetables used in pickles are home grown and rarely found in any other parts of country. A century old business is now taken over by 3rd Generation family.
